William Dampier made his mark on Western Australia first in 1688 and again in 1699 when he sailed into what he then named Shark's Bay. The English privateer, Hydrographer, Naturalist and Navigator had profound impacts on Australian natural history with his nautical and botanical discoveries. He sighted the untouched Australia and discovered the beautiful Shark Bay rose, distilled into our Dampier Gin. Together with Ollie’s Salt harvested off the west coast, this Gin is a tribute to Dampier's wild and fascinating adventures.
